Thanksgiving & Gwan's 50th

Not too much going on lately. Topher is coming down with a pretty bad cold. Well, I wouldn't call it bad as of yet - but waking up at 5:30 these past few days has been a BLAST. He has 4 teeth coming in at once. They are molars and they are taking FOREVER. I would like to skip the teething part of being a parent please.
My mom turned 50 on 11/21 - yay! I am so proud of her. She is such an awesome mom and I love her so much. My dad took her to Casino Morongo for the weekend to celebrate. I'm pretty sure they had a good time. They got back on 11/22 (Sunday) and we had a little get together for her. I'm pretty broke right now, so I made her a scrapbook thing with pictures from her as a baby and on. It came out really cute and she loved it. We had Rachel, Jeremy, Vanessa (Jeremy's babymama), Ken (my boyfriend), and of course Christopher and I.

Ken & I

For Thanksgiving we ended up going over to my cousin Kelley's. It was pretty fun. I could tell Christopher wasn't feeling well though - this teething thing has been pretty rough for him. His gums were black and blue and he was super mellow. So, I know he wasn't feeling well. We ended up playing loads of rock band and it was pretty fun. I am very grateful for my family and especially Christopher. He is my reason for living and I am so blessed and lucky to have him in my life. He brings me joy every day. Don't get me wrong, my patience is also tested on a daily basis. It's a process - this patience thing. Ugggh...
Here's a pic of Jeremy and his girlfriend who is due any day. Yeah, I'll be an Auntie.
My sweet honey pie!!!
I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. . .wow!

Long Time Coming

So, I know it's been a really long time, so here you go - enjoy!!!!!
My cutie being cute:
This was Halloween night, we went to the church down the street, they had a petting zoo, and jumpers and a whole bunch of stuff. This was a free picture you could take with some awesome biker dudes. Look at my little moo cow on his first Harley:
Awwww, isn't he the cutest????

This is his "popper" - he gets pretty chapped if you don't push it. He loves if I run around pushing it but doesn't really like doing it himself. Will throw a fit if I stop. It's put away for now although it's a great workout for your butt.
Just after a bath:
Hangin' out with his best friend Gwanny - he was in love with this book for like a long time along with "Little Red Hen" - my mom must have read it to him 30 times a day and I would read it to him at least 29. Uggghhh - he's over it for now I think:
Happy Boy:

He has a fond love of shoes. Loves raiding our closets and putting them on:
This kid loves his PaPa. My dad mows lawns now that he is retired and Christopher likes to sit on the lawnmower once all is said and done. Will just sit there and be content:
Hangin' with Uncle Jeremy. Jeremy is having a baby due pretty soon so Christopher will have a little cousin. That's all I have to say about that, but this boy loves his Uncle!!!
And of course Auntie, she tries to come at least every weekend, and they will play and play. She loves him so much and I'm so lucky he has such great people in his life that love him as much as they do:

Just being a cutie with a flashlight on his head. He kept in on for like an hour. So funny:
So, really my goal is to post more organized, but it's difficult, as I work full time and when I come home I'm with him until 8:00pm then I just work out and when I'm done the last thing I want to do is blog. So, I will try to start doing it while I'm at work, which is what I'm doing now. I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner. This year has flown by.

First words, update

Wow, been a long time, I know. I apologize for my lack of posts. . .Pictures will be up today. Lots of them. Topher is trying to talk more than ever. His first word was "shoes" - go figure. LOL. He now up to lots of words - home, help, lotion (sounds like "shin"), shoes, sun, I love you (only said once), and yet and still no "mama". Oh well. Soon I hope. He has so much energy, it's constant. He still is at his limber 20lbs I believe. The kid just is all over the place and running around, how can he possibly gain weight? His appetite has definitely increased and he is just so much fun and has a great sense of humor. I am such a lucky girl. Oh, and I'm not going private. I don't have time to do it. Pictures will be up today I promise!!

Birthday party & Going PRIVATE!!!

See, I told you I was going to blog about the birthday party. So, I had it at Shakey's Pizza and it went pretty good. Just a few close friends and family and it was cool.

He was not very interested in the cake. I thought he would dig in, but really, he didn't. I'm thinkin it's the Babywise. Anyways, it was fun.

This is him and his best friend Jayden playing. LOL. Jayden is 18 months, they have had a couple playdates and stuff. Cuties.

Auntie Sullivan
I'll be going private August 31st, so if you want access to the blog email me so I can add you.

I have a one year old!!!

I have a one year old. Yes, it's true. A friend of mine got Christopher this push car and he loves it. It's pretty fun to ride him around in it. He turned one on Thursday August 6th at 11:22am. :) It's so weird how fast time has flown. He's getting so big and funner each day.

I thought it would be fun to take him on his first beach trip for his big day, unfortunately, it was very cold. For some reason this kid REFUSES to sleep in the car and just cries with his eyes shut. We left at about 9:30 (his nap time) to head up to Zuma beach and he didn't fall asleep until about 11:00, and slept for a total of 20 minutes. I don't get it either. He was okay though after some snacks and stuff, but really it turned out to be more of a hassle than a fun day. But, all in all it wasn't too bad.

Thanks Velda for The Cat In The Hat. I told you he loves it! :)
We had a birthday party for him on Saturday August 8th. I'll post those up tomorrow and fill you in on it.

Walking, Swimming, Chucks & Teeth

Christopher has his 7th tooth coming in. It's on the top. He has 4 on the bottom and that means the other 3 are on top. He is so funny. He now primarily walks. When he was crawling, he would always drag something along with him. . .a book, toy, paper, anything. Well the same goes for walking. It's funny.

He's got his keys in his left hand and is walking to the door. Ha ha ha. So cute.
Look at that big ol' smile. He's my favorite. I bought him some shoes too. Some Chuck Taylor's. He doesn't feel comfortable walking with just the shoes I think so my dad was helping him out outside. He gets all excited.

Our neighbors are on vacation this week so they always let us use their pool when they are gone, so we went for a little dip. He loves the water. He wasn't even scared at all. It was a fun day.

I can't believe I have to plan a birthday party soon. I totally suck at this kind of stuff. I have had a headache for like the past week. Yuck.
